Welcome

HEllo my beloved Freshman of DareDevil,

I am Raymond, the SCO for your Orientation Group. Working along with me include Chiu Wah, the other SCO, Alvin, the ASCO, and also many friendly and lovely SCs (Student Coordinators) and SBs (Student Buddies).

Firstly, a warm welcome to you guys for joining us in Ngee Ann Polytechnic, School of Business and Accountancy.

If you are guided to this blog by your SB, you are definitely part of The DAREDEVIL. This is in conjunction with our this year Business and Accountancy Orientation Camp (BAOC)'s theme of RETURN OF THE HEROES.

Orientation is the beginning journey to start of for your polytechnic life. This is an avenue for you to make lots of friends, meet lovely seniors, know the school better and also MOST IMPORTANTLY, have tonnes of fun. So do not miss the chance of interactions and time of enjoyment!

I am sure you have received letters regarding the orientation dates and time. If you unaware of certain details, the following are some that you should take note:

Day 1
9 April 2008

DIPLOMA | Actual REPORTING TIME
ACCOUNTANCY (ACC) | 09:00
BUSINESS STUDIES (BS) | 11:00
BANKING & FINANCIAL SERVICES (BFS) | 13:00
BUSINESS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (BIT) | 13:00
TOURISM AND RESORT MANAGEMENT (TRM) | 13:00

For DAY 1, your SB that called up must have informed you about the venue to meet up for your various subgroups (do note your subgroup number, eg. "DAREDEVIL 2"). Also the timing to meet up with your SB and SC might be earlier than the actual reporting time to ensure a smooth flow of the DAY1 programs. Hope you will be able to arrive on the time they suggested to you. Thank you. For our group the DAREDEVIL, please be attired in maroon color shirts or any color shirts that is close to maroon. Please wear covered shoes and also jeans for the first day.

The dismissal time for SELECTED fews might be around 7pm. This is important as there are some surprises prepared for you. Therefore do make yourself free till 7pm =)

Details of DAY 2 and DAY 3 will be updated for you during the orientation. So see you guys at the orientation. Last but not least, lets make DAREDEVIL the most happening Orientation Group too. =D
